Township Sees Increase in Voter Turnout in November Election

More than 22,000 Plainfield Township residents exercised their right to vote in Tuesday’s general election.

Nearly 79% of the Township’s registered voters participated in the election  an increase of 4% from the 2016 general election. Of those who voted Tuesday, a record 59% did so via an absentee ballot.

The Township is grateful to the election workers, staff and volunteers who worked to ensure every registered voter could submit a ballot.
