More than 10,000 Plainfield Township voters cast a ballot in the Aug. 2 primary election.

Approximately 36% percent of the Township’s registered voters participated in the election. Of those who voted Tuesday, 57% did so via an absentee ballot.

The Township is grateful to the election workers, staff and volunteers who worked to ensure every registered voter could submit a ballot.

Candidates who won their primary elections will now represent their political parties in the Nov. 8 general election.
