Planning to cast a ballot in the Nov. 2 election but not registered to vote in the Township?

Eligible Township residents can still register in person at the Township Clerk’s Office, 6161 Belmont Ave. NE, until 8 p.m. Nov. 2 (Election Day). Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, state ID or utility bill, is required.

The Nov. 2 election will fill the vacant Michigan Senate seat for the 28th District and ask voters to consider the Community Center millage proposal.

To ensure voters take the proper steps to cast their ballot, the Clerk’s Office has put together a checklist and answers to frequently asked questions.
