It May Be Winter, But You Can Still Get Outside

Premier Park sled 2

Whether there is snow on ground or not, the Township has several opportunities for you to get outside and enjoy winter weather.

When conditions are right, don’t forget about the Township’s sledding hill at Premier Park. The hill is located a short walk from the main parking area and can provide hours of fun for children and adults. The park, located at 3450 10 Mile Road, is open daily from sunrise to sunset and is free of charge.

If you’re not looking for a thrill ride down a hill, perhaps a quieter hike may be a better fit. You can find this at the Township’s new Grand Rogue Park at 6400 West River Drive. The recently opened park offers 1.5 miles of trails for hiking and skiing. For a trail map, click here.

As always, please practice physical distancing and follow CDC guidelines to stop the spread of COVID-19.
