Accountant/Property Tax Manager

Plainfield Charter Township is accepting applications for Accountant/Property Tax Manager.  This position is responsible for providing professional accounting support to the Finance Director related to the preparation and maintenance of financial records, property taxes, processing and audit of financial transactions and the production of reports and statements.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and two (2) years of professional accounting experience preferably in governmental accounting – BS&A tax software experience is highly desired.  Duties include tax billing, receipting, disbursing; payroll; general accounting. 

Salary range is $52,146 - $73,000 dependent on experience and expertise.  Plainfield Township offers a generous benefit package including 401a, health insurance, life insurance, retirement health savings account. For a full job description, click HERE.
