The Plainfield Township Board of Trustees is always searching for citizens who are interested in serving on Township boards, committees and commissions. Plainfield Township has immediate openings on several advisory committees listed below. Links are provided so that you may download a committee description and apply online.

- Zoning Board of Appeals -
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is responsible for hearing and deciding questions that arise in the administration of the zoning ordinance, mainly zoning district standards variance requests. The ZBA also hears and decides appeals from any decision made by a township administration official. The ZBA meets on the third Tuesday of the month, as needed. The board met three times in 2018, and has meet twice so far in 2019.
